Program
Day 1:
- 08.15-08.30: Departure by bus along the East-West connection towards Albina.
- Along the way our guide shares interesting information about the history and sights.
- No breakfast on day 1.
- In Albina we continue the journey by boat to Christiaankondre. Cruise takes about 2 hours.
- Late lunch.
- Exploration of the village during a walk and introduction to the local indigenous people and their culture.
- Dinner
- During the turtle laying season (February – July) observation of sea turtles laying their eggs on the beach at night.
Day 2:
- Beach walk and refreshing dip in the river accompanied by our guide.
- Return by boat to Albina, with a stopover in St. Laurent.
- Optional: guided tour of the local prison (bagno).
- Lunch in Albina followed by the return trip to Paramaribo.
Optional 3-day program:
- Same activities as the 2-day tour on the first and last day.
Day 2:
- Breakfast in Galibi.
- Free time for a refreshing dip and a visit to the tiger sandbank.
- An impressive cultural show in the evening (with a minimum of 8 guests at the resort).
