Program
Day 1: Arrival in Georgetown, Guyana
Upon arrival at Cheddi Jaggan International Airport in Georgetown, Guyana, you will be welcomed by our guide and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure.
Hotel: Ramada by Wyndham (breakfast included)
Your guide/driver will meet you at the airport with a sign bearing your name.
Day 2: Kaieteur Falls and flight to Suriname
Today, visit the majestic Kaieteur Falls, the highest single-drop waterfall in the world. After your visit, you will fly back to Georgetown for a city tour, exploring the botanical gardens, cathedral, and the famous Stabroek Market. In the evening, you will fly to Paramaribo, Suriname.

Day 3: Paramaribo City Tour and Peperpot Plantation
Explore the historic city of Paramaribo, a UNESCO World Heritage site, known for its wooden architecture. Visit Independence Square, the Palm Garden, and the basilica, mosque, and synagogue that stand side by side. In the afternoon, drive to the old Peperpot Plantation and nature park, where you can spot wildlife.

Day 4: Suriname – French Guiana, Cayenne
After breakfast, depart for the border town of Albina in Suriname, where you will cross the Marowijne River by pirogue to Saint-Laurent in French Guiana. Explore the city and the notorious penal colony of Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni. Afterward, drive to the capital of French Guiana, Cayenne.

Day 5: Devil’s Island (Île du Diable)
Today, take a catamaran to the famous Devil’s Island and the surrounding islands of the former French penal colony. Although access to Devil’s Island is not allowed, you will explore the beautiful nature of Royal Island and St. Joseph Island.

Day 6: The European Space Centre and return to Suriname
Visit the European Spaceport in Kourou, where satellites are launched into space. After the tour, travel back to Suriname.

Day 7: Departure from Suriname
After a week of adventures and discoveries in the Guianas, it’s time to say goodbye. Depending on your flight, you will be transferred to the airport for your return journey.
