Program
Day 1:
- Departure from Paramaribo by bus at 8 a.m.
- The journey time by bus is approximately 2.5 hours to Albina, where the boat to Galibi awaits you. The sailing time is approximately 1.5 hours by boat.
- Visit French Guiana/St. Laurent on day 2 or day 1 (to be determined by the guide) (French Guyana excl. entrance fee €6 p.p)
- Arrival at Galibi, where we continue to the Urusji Lodge.
- Lunch.
- After lunch you will have time to relax and freshen up, after which we will take a village walk at 5:00 PM. During this walk you will learn more about the population and you will also have the chance to buy some things in a local souvenir shop in Christiaankonde, often made from seeds, beads, calabashes or coconuts.
- You will have dinner in the evening.
- At 9:00 PM you will head to the boat to experience the laying process of the sea turtles. Sailing to the beach takes 20 minutes.
- Depending on the laying process and the sea turtles we see, we return by boat to the lodge.
Day 2:
- The breakfast buffet is ready for you in the early morning.
- After breakfast you will have time to pack before returning to Paramaribo.
- We will get lunch at Albina for the road.
- On the way to Paramaribo, the guide makes a stop at the Moiwana artworks.
- You will be back in Paramaribo around 5 p.m.
3 day program

- Cultural exhibition or weaving workshop by Indigenous people
- Visit Sandbank
Day 3:
- The breakfast buffet is ready for you in the early morning.
- After breakfast you will have time to pack before returning to Paramaribo.
- We will get lunch at Albina for the road.
- On the way to Paramaribo, the guide makes a stop at the Moiwana artworks.
- You will be back in Paramaribo around 5 p.m.

Duration of the tour
The standard Galibi tour is a 2-day experience, but a more extensive 3-day option is also available.
Transportation
The tour starts with a bus trip along the East-West connection towards Albina, followed by a boat trip to Christiaankondre.
Activities
Various activities are planned during the tour, including a village walk, spotting sea turtles, beach walks, swimming in the river and a visit to the tiger sandbank (only for the 3-day tour).
Meals
The tour includes meals, such as lunch and dinner, and there will be an opportunity to enjoy local dishes.
Culture
Guests have the opportunity to learn more about the region's Indigenous culture, including attending a cultural show if there are enough participants.
