Day 1
Your journey to Isadou begins with a bus ride from Paramaribo, heading towards Atjoni. From there, you continue your journey by motorized canoe to Isadou. Upon arrival, you can settle into your simple and rustic cabana. After a tasty warm lunch, there is an opportunity for a refreshing swim and to enjoy one of the most impressive sula’s (water rapids) in Suriname.
Day 2
You kick off your day at Isadou with a buffet breakfast, followed by a visit to a nearby Maroon village. The welcoming Maroon population takes pride in sharing their ancient culture, customs, and traditions with you.
Upon return to Isadou, a warm lunch awaits, followed by free time for swimming or relaxing in a hammock. In the evening, the Isadou tour offers an exciting nocturnal boat excursion after dinner, allowing you to spot animals by canoe!
Day 3
On your last morning at Isadou, you can take a final dip after breakfast or participate in an optional** forest walk. After lunch, you depart back to Paramaribo.
