- En route: Two stops for restroom breaks or snacks.
- Around 01:00 PM: Arrival at Atjoni followed by a one-hour boat trip to Knini Paati.
- Upon Arrival: Warm meal and check-in to the assigned lodge.
- Afternoon/Evening: Free time for swimming or relaxing by the sula.

Upper Suriname
The Upper Suriname area, where the Knini Paati River Resort is located, is known for its unique Maroon culture and pristine Amazon rainforest. The Maroons are descendants of escaped slaves who settled in the remote interior long ago. There, they built a new life, and due to their isolated lifestyle, a unique culture has developed with strong African influences.

Standard excursions included in the tour: forest walk, village walk, an evening boat tour, and swimming in rapids.
Optional activities
