Program
Day 1: Paramaribo to Wageningen
- Departure from Paramaribo at 7 am
- Drive to Wageningen in the Nickerie district
- Spot wildlife along the way such as toucans and sloths
- Lunch break on the way
- Arrival in Wageningen around 2 p.m.
- Meeting with the boatswain
- Late afternoon sailing

Day 2 & 3: Exploration of the area
- Exploration of both the Maratakka River and the Nickerie River

Bigi Pan*
Bigi Pan is a highly bird-rich nature reserve located on the west coast of Suriname, covering 68,000 hectares. Big Pan (which means Big Lake in Surinamese) is an area formed from creeks, mangroves, and wet and dry marshes. In the middle of the lake, there is a resort. During this tour, this stilted resort serves as a base to discover the rich flora and fauna of the area through boat excursions.
