Program
Day 1
- +/- 07.00 departure by bus to Witagron (about 4-5 hours by bus to Witagron)
- Lunch in Witagron.
- Loading boats for the boat trip to Raleigh Falls.
- +/- 3.00 hours sailing from Witgron to Raleighvelden (during the dry season the cruise may take longer and you may also go into and get off)
- After meeting the manager, you will be indicated where you will spend the night in the coming days
- Afternoon walk, exploring the island.
- Optional: swim in the river at Raleigh Falls.
Day 2:
- After a relaxing night, breakfast and preparation for the trip to Voltzberg.
- Forest walk with possibility to see animals such as monkeys, birds, wild boars.
- Highlight: Climb to the top of the Voltzberg (240 m) for stunning views. (3 hours hike to the top and back again)
- Return to the lodge.
- Dinner and enjoy the day.
Day 3:
- Breakfast at Raleighvelden.
- Boat trip to the mother falls.
- Lunch and afternoon excursion to Anjoemara falls.
- Stop at Copie Island with optional activities such as playing football or drifting to base camp (Fungu Island).
- Back to the lodge.
Day 4:
- Breakfast and departure by boat to Witagron.
- Return to Paramaribo by car or bus.
- End of the Raleigh Falls excursion.
