Program
Day 1
- We leave at 8.45 am from the Suforyou office on Henck Arronstraat
- Short introduction with a cup of coffee
- Departure towards the interior, with sights along the way such as the old Suralco factory and an Indigenous village
- Stop at Mr. ‘Kleine”s house in Powakka for an introduction to Indigenous culture and local specialties such as cassava
- Get started with local products under the guidance of ‘Kleine’
- Tasting Indigenous beer and freshly baked cassava
- Continuation of the journey by bus to Seliba
- Arrival at Seliba for the luxury camping adventure, where various activities are possible such as SUPing and relaxing by the pool
- Hike through the jungle with your guide to spot nocturnal animals
- Possibility to see colorful frogs, hissing snakes and more
- Relaxation by the crackling campfire, in the hot tub or during a games evening in the lounge
- Optional extra adventure trek into the jungle with your guide
Day 2
- In the early morning you will wake up to the sound of howler monkeys and chirping birds. You also have a chance to spot toucans, macaws and hummingbirds
- Optional activities such as padle tour or a walk with the guide to spot wildlife
- After breakfast you will have time for a refreshing dip in the pool or in the Suriname River
- Lunch
- Return to Paramaribo
3 day program
Day 1 and 2 are the same. On day 2 you will have more time to relax and spot wildlife with the guide.
Day 3 is an extra relaxing day and after lunch you return to Paramaribo.
