Tour Information

Day 1: Paramaribo to Cawfalls

  • Departure at 6am for Nickerie, South Drain.
  • On board a boat at 10am.
  • Cruise to Apura with stopover in Oreala, Guyana.
  • Arrive Apura at 2:00 PM.
  • Lunch on the shore and travel to Cawfalls.
  • Surrounded by beautiful nature with sandbanks and sulas.
  • Overnight stay at Cawfalls Lodge.

Day 2: Cawfalls to Wonotobofalls

  • Breakfast with sunrise.
  • Travel to the impressive Wonotobo Falls.
  • Ancient petroglyphs and wildlife along the way.
  • Corantijn River known for sport fishing.
  • Swimming at the waterfalls.
  • Supper and rest or evening walk.
  • Overnight stay in lodge with mosquito nets or simple hut with hammock.

Day 3: Guyana Exploration and BBQ

  • Breakfast and border crossing to Guyana.
  • View of Wonotobo Falls.
  • Forest walk to ancient petroglyphs.
  • Free afternoon, BBQ at base camp.
  • Overnight stay at base camp.

Day 4: Frenchman Trap and Blue Crane

  • Exploration trip to Fransmanval and Blue Crane.
  • Return to camp for lunch.
  • Afternoon activities: fishing, swimming, rowing, walking.
  • Overnight stay at the comfortable base camp.

Day 5: Back to Nickerie

  • Breakfast and exploration through the forest.

Day 6: Back to Paramaribo

  • Departure to Nickerie.
  • Some stops for lunch and souvenirs.
  • Arrival in Nickerie in the late afternoon.
  • Bus ride to Paramaribo, where we will arrive again in the evening.
